I painted this piece during a live prayer and worship set in San Antonio, TX. I got the idea while meditating on Psalm 91 as I prayed the verses over my family during financial hardship and transition. The painting visually represents my declaration of faith that those who live in the shelter of God (the Most High) will find safety, refuge, and protection from harm.

The refuge of the Lord's wings provides safety and security, even in the valleys of life. Observe closely and see that the door is open because you have no fear of what may enter. Trust that the Lord will shield you with His powerful wings and keep you safe from evil. The darkness is no match for our God, as the light always overcomes the darkness!
